Mose, a close family friend shared a sauce recipe that has become the foundation of our famous Barbecue. Mose was a roadside vendor who cooked amazing “Whole Hog” barbecue for the residents of Kingstree South Carolina during the 1940’s. Our founder, Bennett Brown III was given the recipe by his Aunt Virginia whom had befriended Mose and visited his stand often to enjoy his cooking and to learn from him.
